UMCOR OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE!
December 15th, 9am - 4pm

On Saturday the 15th, we will take the completed cleaning buckets to the UMCOR North Georgia Conference Warehouse by the Atlanta airport and also serve there from 10am to 3pm. We will be verifying cleaning buckets and hygiene kits. In addition we may be helping install new storage racks and organize supplies. We will carpool from McKendree UMC parking lot at 9am, and return around 4pm. We have space for 15 volunteers.  If you are interested in participating, email Grace Zimmerman at zimmerg@cisco.com or Ryan Miller at rmiller@mckendreeumc.org, and also let us know if you need a ride or if you can drive. We will need a few larger vehicles to transport 15 volunteers and the 50 filled 5-gallon cleaning buckets. Bring a sack lunch, and wear comfortable clothes/shoes.

What is the difference between missions and outreach?

MISSIONS is the opportunity to answer the Great Commission to go out into the world and make disciples of Jesus Christ through serving and evangelizing to non-believers.

OUTREACH activities are opportunities to support, fellowship with and be examples of Christ to the community around us.

To become involved in missions and outreach activities watch the weekly Happenings email, the church Facebook page or sign up for the missions committee by contacting Pastor Ryan
